In our Club, you can also support your mental well-being and take advantage of professional psychological services. Our mental health expert provides a wide range of psychological support as part of our psychology services.

The primary service is psychological diagnostics, which helps outline an individual’s personality profile. This unique, tailored characteristic is then used in working with the client, helping them gain deeper self-awareness. If desired, specific areas for improvement can be identified.

Another option is psychological counseling, suitable for individuals facing mental difficulties such as anxiety, stress, or low self-confidence, or those going through challenging life situations and seeking a way forward. Psychological counseling aids in improving mental balance, managing stress and emotionally demanding situations, changing negative thought patterns and behaviors, deepening interpersonal relationships, and adopting effective problem-solving and communication strategies.

You can also engage in psychological coaching, which focuses on enhancing personal skills and abilities, setting meaningful goals, and achieving them. Coaching supports professional or personal development, goal-setting and achievement, responsible life management, and overall performance and satisfaction improvement.

For professional and amateur athletes, as well as their close circles, sports mental training may be of interest. This helps understand and modify ineffective thinking and emotional patterns before and during sports performances. The training consists of tasks and exercises completed both during sessions and independently. It contributes to increasing psychological resilience and self-confidence, optimizing mental states before and during performances, eliminating nervousness, improving focus under pressure, and strengthening sports motivation.

At Balance Club Brumlovka, you can reach out to PhDr. Barbora Matějčková, a highly respected sports psychologist with extensive experience working with Czech Olympians and the Dukla Prague club. With her project A Psychologist for Every Sports Organization, she also won the Changing the World Through Movement competition, organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University in Prague.
